My love for the game started at a young age in the backyard when I just picked up a ball and started dribbling it. I was out there every day just messing around and shooting all day long. My first organized team was in 2nd grade when I started playing Jr. Jazz Recreation basketball. I loved the competition and would practice and practice until I could do the things I saw older people doing. It was in 7th grade that I decided I wanted to play college basketball, and since that day I have spent countless hours working on my game. My goal was to play JV/Varsity as a freshman and I worked hard and was able to accomplish that. Since freshman year I have made it a goal to get the "Mad Handle Award" by putting in 50 hours of ball handling and "25,000" shot club during the summer. Last summer, I doubled that and plan to do it again this summer. Playing college basketball is still my goal and I want to do everything I can to achieve it!
